Hunting with Columbia Coast Outfitters is nothing short of a living a dream. Barrow’s goldeneye and Harlequin along with many other sea ducks can be found along the coast where he has extensive knowledge and works hard for the best, safest opportunity to find success. I’ll never forget the first time holding either of those two as long as I live, even topping that with a goldeneye hybrid! If the salt isn’t your thing, and you’re looking for diving and puddle ducks, you can expect nothing short of an adventure in pursuit of excellent gunning and a diverse bag limit on the mighty Columbia River. Birds decoying in your face and lots of opportunities for new experiences chasing different ducks with some of the best scenery available! I’ve known Brett for several years now, and have spent many days on the water and in a boat hunting along side him and have had to opportunity to experience what most folks dream of! Make your dream a reality, and come pay him a visit! You won’t be disappointed!

I just want to say thanks for such an awesome waterfowl adventure with you guys at Columbia Coast. Not only was the hunting the best I have ever experienced, the hospitality and Cheyenne’s home cooking was second to none. The scenery was phenomenal! The sheer number of decoying ducks absolutely blew my mind. From Harliquins on the salt, Wigeons on the Columbia and those Barrows Goldeneye piling right into your face! It was by far an experience I will never soon forget. For that, I commend you for your knowledge and expertise on the Washington Coastline. You were by far the best guide and friend any waterfowler could ask for!

I hunted with Brett in Mid January 2020, coming from Arizona this is a huge hunt being that the species are so tightly located in the PNW in many cases. I went up there chasing over 10 species and was able to get on every single one of them. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the areas in which he hunts. But he’s meticulous when it comes to preparation, safety and overall set up. This not only allows for a safe atmosphere but a literal blast within the duck blind, and who doesn’t love a good laugh. You will literally hurt from all of the laughs that take place, learn a ton about the area, the movement of birds and develops friendships that will last a lifetime.
